The early years were rocky, but our family cohesion and our father‘s wealth of ideas ensured steady growth. We are continuing his life‘s work with a dedicated team and many long-standing and new business partners.

Our portfolio includes a constantly growing range of active, passive and electromechanical components - with a focus on power and thermal management. In total, we offer over 50,000 items from more than 250 renowned manufacturers such as Recom, Panasonic, Talema, TSC and LiteOn. We have decades of cooperation with MEAN WELL and SUNON, for whom we are the most important distributor with the largest warehouse in Europe. As a pioneer in digitalisation, our warehouse logistics are at the cutting edge of technology thanks to continuous investment.

Hans-Georg Schukat, who had fled East Prussia at the age of 14, found his first jobas a newly qualified engineer at Siemens in Düsseldorf in 1956. In the same year, he married his great love Hannelore from the neighboring town of Monheim. The couple started a family here and in 1964 founded their company, which is now one of the top local employers. Many employees, often even several members of one family, and trainees have their roots in Monheim, which is located in the heart of the Rhine metropolitan region right between Düsseldorf and Cologne. Over the decades, many business partners from over 50 countries have been guests in Monheim.

In September 2018, the city paid tribute tothe company founder by renaming a section of Daimler Strasse Hans-Georg-Schukat-Strasse.
